BLUE BOY LEROY stands in our barn. Hopper as we call him was born on the ranch then sold as a stud colt, after his sire suddenly died with great effort he was bought back to the BAR O. He has proved beyond all expectations to be a spectacular addition to our program. Sired by WHIPP HANCOCK LEROY, who's line includes HANCOCKS BLUE BOY on the top and MR PESTY BUGS, HANCOCKS BLUE BOY and MR ROAN HANCOCK on the bottom. These fine horses were all AQHA World Show contenders. BLUE BOY HANCOCK is big boned, strong and athletic. Known for easy temperament, cattle work, roping and breeding, he stands at 15 hands. He is a homozygous roan so everything he throws is a roan.

BLUE CLASSY HANCOCK, Captain as we call him was born 2015 on the ranch and chosen to follow in his fathers footsteps. Mixing Sire PLENTY VALENTINES foundation Hancock and King line with his Dam MISS PESTY BLUE who carries the Big Fix , King and Classy Bar Hancock line, looks to be a match made in heaven. Captain has a great disposition and beautiful confirmation. He's broke to ride and makes a gorgeous partner. We are expecting his first foal this month 2021 and look forward to a long reign.

The roots of our Horse Ranch were planted with the purchase of Plenty Valentine. PINKY as we lovingly call him was arrived as a stud colt in 1997 from John Balkinbush's Sunshine Ranch of Conrad, Montana. PLENTY VALENTINE is sired by CLASSY BAR HANCOCK who is a SUGAR BAR, JOE HANCOCK bred horse on the top and a GOOSEBERRY, BLUE VALENTINE, RED MAN on the Dam. He was a great cow horse with a mild manner and now has matured into a gentleman's breeding animal. He stands at 15.2.
